Acme is led by Dr Shetye, Laboratory Director and Consultant Clinical Microbiologist with 20 years of rich experience in her subject domain.
After completing her education (MBBS) from Grant medical College & JJ group of Hospitals, and MD in Clinical Microbiology from LTMMC , Sion Hospital Mumbai, she was associated with MGM Hospital Kamothe and Himedia.
She had a long and illustrious career at Global reference laboratory , Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, Mumbai, helming various positions.
Her last assignment was as Chief of lab services & Head, Microbiology & Molecular Diagnostics,
She has vast experience in cross functionalities such as Laboratory Set-up and Management, Clinical Research, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Accreditation, Diagnostic Product Validation, Academics and Scientific journal review.
She is an empanelled NABL Assessor as per ISO 15189:2012 for Microbiology, Molecular and Serology disciplines and has conducted multiple assessments nationally.
She is an IIM Bangalore alumnus ,12th Cohort participant of NSRCEL Goldman Sachs 10K Women program -2022.
She has special interest in fields of Quality Assurance, Molecular Diagnostics and Automation and Mycobacteriology.
